But since I already had one of the the real product sourced I could tell. Also the fake one has a wider connection to the car, and has cheaper plastic molding on the unit I have had my cell phones damaged in the past by non original power sources so these are going back. Warning I ordered this more expensive Motorola Retail Packaging option from Amazon and I received cheap counterfeit product. I was careful to purchase right from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller in the "more buying choices" screen.There are no Motorola holograms and when compared to a real OEM that I purchased elsewhere with the same part #, the real Motorola has the part # and regulatory labels printed on a different type of sticker. I am going to send one to Motorola instead of Amazon so that hopefully they can investigate and require Amazon to pull this item.If I had bought these only from Amazon I admit I would have been fooled.

I am sort of scared to plug my phone into it for fear of a power surge or something that would ruin my phone. I will post a pic of what I received shortly. I wish the reviews would tell you specifically who the person bought theirs from since they might be selling different products. It doesn't even look like the photo. Some of them are from 2006.

It comes in a plastic bag and is not even a Motorola product. It looks cheap and will probably fall apart shortly. I ordered directly from Amazon thinking it must be the other sellers that are selling this knock-off garbage but I was wrong. It seems now most people just getting the crappy, cheap junk that I got. Right in the title they label this as "Motorola Retail Packaging" however that is not true.

The blue part that should light up is black and only has a small blue light bulb poking out of the plastic. If you read the reviews and see a good one that says theirs is genuine make sure to check the date.

Didn't know you could get Motorola brand at such a great price. Love the blue M when charging. Bought a generic version from the store and it literally fell apart. It looks and works great.

It worked great right from the start. I am very happy with the charger. I ordered this adapter for 2 new trac-fones that I purchased. I did not have any of the problems other reviewers had.

While it reliably increases charge to my Moto W755, the phone never seems to get the "finished charging" message like it does with the wall charger that came in the box.
